Synoptic Translate™ provides a Windows desktop wrapper around and visual interface for a core subset of some online language translation APIs (application programming interface). At present, it supports:
- Microsoft Azure Translator
- DeepL
- Google Translate
- OpenAi’s Chat GPT
Rescribe Post-Processor™ processes the multiple output files generated by Rescribe. Rescribe is a windows application exploiting the Tesseract OCR engine trained for historical Latin texts.
Image Studio is a collage of functions for pre-processing PDF and other image files to enhance the results of optical character recognition. Often times the scans available for valuable historical texts have poor quality for OCR purposes leading to the need for utilities to pre-process them.
